Customising 'Display Settings'Like Object Settings, customising the Display Settings is completely optional. However, changing these settings will help to make your page completely unique. This guide explains the various settings you can change. Depending on the template you have chosen for your page, some of these options may not be available.
Page Logo (Charity Only)
By default, your charity logo will be displayed at the top of your page. If you want to display a different logo (eg. a specific campaign logo), you can upload this here.
We advise using a PNG-24 file with an image sitting on a transparent background. If your page logo does not have a transparent background, you might want to consider setting your header background to 'Solid Colour' and the background colour to match.
You can also create a hyperlink here, so that when a visitor clicks on your logo, they are redirected to another webpage - this could be your homepage or a specific landing page containing more information about your appeal.
On some templates, you can choose either a transparent (invisible) header for your page or you can add a solid colour at the top of your page. If you select 'Solid Colour', you will be able to choose the colour you'd like to use.
Other templates give you the option to customise the full background. In Background Settings, you can configure a combination of a colour gradient and a tiled image for your background. The colour gradient has two settings - one for the top colour and one for the bottom; these colours will blend into each other. If you want to use a completely solid colour, set both colours to the same value.
In addition, you can blend in a tiled image to be repeated across the entire background. You can use the default image provided or upload your own seamless pattern. Then, control the blending by adjusting the tile visibility setting to your preference. You can adjust the size of each tile, by changing the tile scale setting. If you don’t want any tiled image to be displayed over the gradient, set the visibility to 0%.
Jigsaw area colour
On jigsaw pages, you can choose a colour for the jigsaw area. This is a solid colour that is displayed before each puzzle piece has been added.

Message & Button Settings
Pick some colours here to change how each message will be displayed on your page. Once you've found the colour you want, hit 'Choose' to save your choice. Check the preview to see how this will look.
Hover background/Hover Text
When someone hovers their mouse over your button, you can change how it is displayed by changing the colours here. Again, you can test this by hovering your mouse over the preview button.
Display view counter
If you want to display how many times a message has been viewed, set this to 'Yes'.
If you want to display the date each message was left, set this to 'Yes'.
Display donated amount
If you would like donors to have the option whether to display or hide the amount of their gift with their message, set this to 'yes'. If this is set to 'No', no donation values are displayed.
Pop-up 'About Page'
If you want your page visitors to read your story on arriving at your page, set this option to 'Yes'. A pop-up window with your story will be displayed on the first visit within a browser session. Visitors can still click the 'About Page' button from the menu at any time if they want to read your story again.
Show total raised
Set this to 'Yes' to display the total amount raised through your page. If you have set a fundraising target in General Settings, the total will automatically be displayed.
Available object visibility
You can pick how you want the available objects to appear by changing this setting. For example, you might want a ghostly image of each object to be shown so that your page visitors can see where they are all located and pick their favourite item. Alternatively, you might choose to make them invisible so that they are only revealed after a contribution has been made. Tip - try changing this setting and viewing your page to see how different it looks!
You can revert back to the original display settings for your page at any time by clicking 'Apply Template Display Defaults To This Page'.
Charity Display Defaults (Charity accounts only)
Once you have configured your display settings, you can set these as default settings for your future pages. To do this, click 'Create Charity Display Defaults From This Page'. Then, next time you create a page, click 'Apply Charity Display Defaults To This Page' to apply the same settings.
